About Us
In 1995 the principles of Triyar Entertainment Group (TEG) broke into the nightlife/entertainment arena with the creation of Empire, located in the prestigious Biltmore area of Phoenix. Empire helped to reshape the landscape of Arizona nightlife as the only high-end multifaceted nightclub in the Phoenix / Scottsdale area. Featuring a sushi restaurant, pool tables, large dance floor, outdoor patio, three full service bars, and VIP area the nightclub was a catalyst in shaping the Scottsdale nightlife into the vibrant, mainstream city that it is today.
In 1998 the group introduced its follow up project with a 6 room / theme, 3-story, 14,000 square foot nightclub; Sanctuary. This was one of the first mega-nightclubs of its kind. The likes of Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, and many more were regulars to the VIP room on the 3rd level.
In 2001 Suede was the next place to open, located in the heart of Scottsdale; Suede preserved a stylish reputation for its smooth, sexy feel. An LED back-lit bar transformed the feel throughout the night while the frost bar kept your drink cool even on the hottest night in the desert. Asian inspired cuisine drew a great happy hour crowd and brought in corporate parties year-round.
In 2002 Triyar Entertainment Group introduced two new concepts to the Valley, Pearl and Opium. Pearl was a small, upscale martini lounge located on the same block as Suede. Pearl’s focus on detail and amazing cocktail recipes raised the bar in the lounge scene. It was a very intimate space and the waiting list for a table extended out months. Opium was a beautiful high-end lounge, there were three bars located within the space. Opium had one of the best designed floor plans to hit the scene; the patio space was a see and be seen area located just off of Scottsdale Road. The VIP room was accustom to hosting many of the valley’s celebrities and athletes.
In 2003 the valley’s two largest bar operators, Triyar Entertainment Group and Evening Entertainment Group merged and remolded the largest nightclub in Scottsdale, Axis Radius. This dual nightclub has 2 separate sides; one that caters to the top 40 crowd the other side is more geared to the house / dance music crowd. Featured is a $1 Million light show, private skyboxes with individual patios. The venue as a whole truly has something for everyone.
In 2004 the newly merged companies decided to remodel and revamp Sanctuary. Included is the remodel was a $I00k Laser light show, 5 private skyboxes that overlooked the large dance floors that provided an unmatched perspective, in any nightclub. The world class talent including the likes of DJ Tiesto, DJ AM, Paul van Dyke, Armin Van Buren, Calvin Harris and Swedish House Mafia just to name a few brought people from all over the region. The Milk Room, Ball Room, Eden, and VIP allowed for a different experience every time you visited.
Later that same year the principles opened up a restaurant concept in southern California called Corral Tree. Since its inception 4 locations have opened, the first being Brentwood, then onto Century City, Woodland Hills, and finally Topanga. Coral Tree focuses on targeting the highest demographic areas, while catering to the health conscious and a strong celebrity following. The concept includes large open patios with fireplaces and an exhibition kitchen that serves organic coffees, teas and salads. Pastry chefs make delicious desserts from scratch daily that drives traffic at all hours of the day and compliments the “Euro-style” cafe atmosphere alongside the boutique wine selection from Europe and California that pair beautifully with the cheese and fruit plates. All of this has created a great atmosphere that required time limits be placed on the tables at times in order to accommodate our customers.
The Principles of TEG also own Triyar Hospitality. In 2008 Triyar Hospitality built and opened the W Scottsdale. This 224 room hotel also includes 18 Residences, 3 bars, full-service spa (Bliss) and a signature restaurant (Sushi Roku). The Hotel is owned by Triyar Hospitality and operated by Starwood. The 3 bars are operated by TEG (Living Room, Shade, & sunset. beach). Living Room is our lobby bar / lounge concept and focuses on catering to our hotel guests while serving the most innovative cocktails ranging from martinis to caiprinis, no details have been overlooked from the floating staircase to the 100 x 35 ft art wall. There are surprises behind every corner including our interactive bathrooms. Shade is our signature lounge that opens up to our 25,000 sf pool deck. The principles traveled far and wide collecting ideas from everywhere from the south of France to Miami to create an open-air indoor / outdoor vibe that has never been seen. Fire pits and water features intermingle with our guests to create a perfect balance and feel to our space. One level up is sunset.beach this bar services the cabanas chase lounges and sand beach that surrounds our amazing pool. Service details include delightful frozen concoctions, frozen grapes and tanning butlers just to name a few. All in all Triyar Entertainment Group operates close to 30,000 sf inside the latest and greatest to join the W brand.
In 2010 TEG developed the 1st Phase of the Downtown Entertainment District located directly east of the W Scottsdale. Tenants include The Mint an Ultra Lounge, Majerle’s Sports Bar, El Hefe super macho taqueria and Wild Knight nightclub. The 2nd Phase opened in April 2013 with the likes of Live Wire Bar & Grill, Whiskey Row a modern country bar and Derby Social House. The anchor is Maya Day & Nightclub. This 30k square foot day and nightclub will have a 20k sf outdoor pool deck. Triyar will own the property and operate the business in this latest venture. Integrated into the Maya property is it’s restaurant element Burger Bar called District. The Maya/ District area takes up a huge amount of space in the Scottsdale entertainment district and has cemented itself as the hub of entertainment in the Phoenix valley.
In 2014 the latest edition to the block, Dakota was built which is located in between the W hotel and Maya. This new concept’s design includes elements such as white-washed wood, window shutters, ivy greenery, and birdcage lighting meant to create a traditional and elegant vibe. The restaurant and bar also offers a large street-front patio with lounge seating, gas lamps, greenery, and fire pits.
Triyar Entertainment strongly feels that with our tremendous marketing synergies in the heart of Phoenix / Scottsdale and San Diego markets will serve as a strong feeder not only to the lounges owned and operated by Triyar Entertainment but to the Key Club and Sunset Boulevard area as a whole. Triyar Entertainment has been involved in national events such as “Bud Bowl” at Super Bowl XLII which hosted P. Diddy, Snoop Dogg, and Kid Rock. Our tremendous promotional machine serves as our strongest asset, the many close personal ties within the magazine industry, social media world, world renowned DJ’s, and the celebrity arena makes Triyar Entertainment Group a dominant operator in the nightclub industry.
